I spent a few days in Des Moines with my boyfriend. I showed him around as he never really spent time here. He also got to meet my dad for the first time.
After college i had moved back to Iowa from Indiana, from 2010 till 2017 – then i moved to Minneapolis.
Haven’t had a visit like this in Des Moines since before 2020.
While visiting, i met up with my friend Jake and his squirrel. We reminisced and shared some laughs.
I ended up visiting my old home town of Adel Iowa. Took some pictures of the old church and lot next to it, where my old home used to be.
On the last day, i met up with my dad who had business in Ankeny Iowa. Was great to see family.
